We decided to chose an Ellie Goulding soundtrack, below you can hear the soundtrack
We thought this soundtrack would make a good music video, firstly because it meets the requirements of not having a music video and under the time limit of 5 minutes. Another reason we chose this song is becuase it's up beat and fast paced, however we noticed it has a slow paced opening however the fact that the beat picks up as the song continues means that we are able to use the song. Also Ellie Goulding is a British singer/song writer, This allows us to use her song for our music video.
Initial ideas:
Firstly we have a female artist we have chosen Sophie for this, we thought she would suite the genre of pop well as she is young and knows the song. We have had ideas of where we are going to shoot, we have mentioned being on a hill top with a sunset and London, We chose London because the song is called 'In my city.' And she is a female artist who originated in England, the places would be landmarks such as Big Ben, London eye and Trafalgar square.

Above you can see examples of the three main locations that we are thinking of filming in, these three locations because they are well know across the world and the title of the song relates to the 'city' which makes the overall theme and narrative.
