Talent Release Form
In order to start filming our music video we needed to get the people in our music video to fill out a form to state that they agree that they are going to be involved in the work and give consent for the footage to be used.
experiment shots.
These are test shots we decided to practice because they are key shots we want to use in our music video. By practicing these shot we will hopefully be able to create an effective music video with smooth, in focus shots that create meaning.
here are two shots which show us testing out pull focus, the footage wouldn't upload so instead wee took before and after of what we would like it to be when we come to film the music video. we want to show the contrast between what is going to be the artist and the location that she is going to be in.
here we showed a low angle and a high angle shot of how we want the camera to be placed and where we would want the artist to place as this will give us the type of shots that we need with the different angles and variations which will be used in the music video.
here we have a pan which we are going to try and use in our music video as we have a shot which uses this. reviewing this we need to make sure that the pan is smooth when turning which means that we would need someone with a steady hand and a tripod that isn't stiff when it spins.
Above as you can see we have an establishing shot of London, the establishing shot in
the music video will create an idea of where the video is set, although this was
filmed on a phone we would be using DLR cameras.
You can then see a medium high angle shot, this will be used when we have the dancers dancing
in London, again the real shots will be used and shot with DLR cameras.

Location Permission
In order to be able to film in our specifics locations, we have planned emails to send to those whom it may concern. The reason for this is because when filming we need to know we have the correct permission to film there.
Location Permissions
Below I have personally wrote an e-mail to trafalgar square asking if we need to pay for use of trafalgar square, as online it was slightly unclear on whether we have to. The information I found online can be seen below.

We then messaged the Head of Dance to ask whether the studio would be available to use for our music video.

Shooting Schedule
This is our shooting schedule we created. This is a very important document which will allow us to clearly plan when and where we are going to film and who will be involved. We have taken the time to write down the shot numbers and costumes because this will mean on the day we will be more organised and know exactly what we are doing.

RECORD LABELS
The aim of this post was to investigate different record labels that may be relevant for our artist. I took time to research which ones would be appropriate and thought about why it would be specifically useful for our artist.

Animatic
Animatic
Below you can see an animatic, the animatic was created by cutting our story boards up and taking individual images and placing them in the order they are supposed to be on for our music video sequence. The animatic allows us to get an idea of how the music video will look when we go to film it.
Story boards
Story Boards
Above you can see the layout of our story boards on card paper, they are in the order we want them to be in for filming, the story boards are there to help us remember what we need to shoot, and what we have already shot for our music video.

Prop ideas
In our
group we all decided on a few props that we could incorporate into our music
video. Some of the props that we came up with was a mobile phone, a rucksack, a
park bench, a set of swings and a roundabout in a park.
Costume Ideas
This is my costume ideas post which display the different costumes that we may be using in our music video. This was effective because it allowed us to think about the different costumes we would like to use in specific locations and how it would be relevant to both our artist and genre of music.
These are the final costumes we are using.
This video displays how we have incorporated the costumes into our music video. We feel this has been very effective in displaying our star image and linking to both pop genre conventions as well as challenging them. This has also been effective for the dancers because it allowed them to move but also be signified as a group of dancers.

AGE RATINGS
For this blog post I researched information about age ratings. I read several articles and discovered information about how age ratings may be placed on music videos. This was interesting to find out about and made us think about the different elements of music videos that can be targeted towards different ages.
