Final Draft of DigiPak

Final Draft of DigiPak

This jpeg image highlights our final digipak product. We can changed this quite a lot after receiving feedback from our teachers. The feedback we received stated that they felt the idea worked well but some of the panels needed to be developed. They like the front cover and believed it linked well to our genre and was appropriate for our artist. They also liked the consistency with the lines which wrap around the artist. This was effective because the image displays the artist moving. However the panel with the lines around the artist needed to be softened slightly because they were too sharp which meant the idea of softness/fluidity was lost. They also felt our original idea for the bottom image didn't work and I needed to be moving more to make my top flow. Therefore we used a different photo which worked more effectively and decided to use a background with a light glowing. In addition to this I adapted the silhouettes to link into the product. I decided to use a black background and then out the silhouettes in a grey scale creating a better link with our product. I feel this looks more effective and portrays the dancers clearly. We also completely changed our back cover which was originally another silhouette. We decided to develop this by having an image of hands with the songs listed below and the lines wrapped around the fingers. To add to this we ensured we had all the smaller details such as the barcode and record label.
